PRIZES and RULES:

Prize details: A free and clear title for 2.4 hectares (6 acres) of land, located on the cliffs above the town of Estero del Platano in the Esmeraldas Province of Ecuador. On the land and included in the prize is a newly built, uncompleted, six story structure. Also included is a cash prize of $20,000.

A independent person will collect all submissions and verify the entry fee was paid.  Email address and name will be removed from entry and replaced with a number that will be associated to the submission email.  Essays will be submitted to judge and will be completely anonymous throughout the selection process.  Please be sure names are not included within your essays. Must be 18 years or older to enter. No immediate family may enter the contest. The title must be transferred in Ecuador and done in a timely fashion. If the title is not transferred within eight months of winning, the title reverts back to the original owner. Upon being chosen, the winner will receive $5,000 dollars, with the rest of the prize monies being paid in full after the title is transferred. The winner is responsible for their own taxes.

 

Only a certain amount essays will be accepted. If that total of essays are not submitted. the owner has the right to refund the entry fees and the contest is void. Happy Writing and Good Luck!
